Lake Middle School Athletic Conference (LMSAC) Championships

Schedule: 7:00 AM - Doors open to teams only

7:30 AM - Weigh-Ins (matside)

8:00 AM - Doors open to public

9:00 AM - Competition Starts Quaterfinals (Mats 1-4)

9:45 AM - Semis on Mats (1-2), Consos on Mats (3-4)

11:15 AM - Consi Semis on Mats (1-2), JV Prelims (Mats 3-4)

11:45 AM - Lunch Break (20 minutes)

12:10 PM - 5th Place Matches on Mats (1-2) and JV Finals (Mats 3-4)

12:45 PM -  1st Place Matches (Mat 1), 3rd Place Matches (Mat 2) 

Format/Pairing: Varsity will be placed in 8-man brackets to be seeded on Thursday night. JV will be placed in 3 or 4 man blocked weight brackets and will get 2 matches.

Team Scoring: Placement 1st -16, 2nd- 12 pts, 3rd - 9 pts, 4th - 7 pts, 5th - 5 pts, 6th - 3 pts. 

Seeding Criteria

1. Head-to-Head Wins

2. Common Opponents record

3. IHSWCA MS State Medalist (1st-8th) 

4. 2023 LMSAC Medalist (1st-3rd)

5. Season Win Percentage (must have wrestle at least 4 varsity conference dual meets)

6. Coaches Vote if nothing applies

Admission: TBD

Awards: Medals will be awarded at our podium to the top three finishers in each weight class.

Team Area/Food: Teams will have tables designated for team use, coolers, and food outside the gym by the main entrance. NO CROCKPOTS.  Concessions will be available. Hospitality provided for coaches and officials. There will be no coolers allowed in the gym. 

Register/Entries: Trackwrestling logins will be emailed to head coaches to enter athletes. Coaches can email entrees to Mark Maldonado at mmaldona@highland.k12.in.us 

*Please email JV entries and their weight so they can be paired. 

**Every school will be allowed 10 JV entries max.

Entry Fee: $20 per wrestler, max fee of $200.
